About T /SGT Jack. D. Levy

T/SGT Jack D. Levy was a member of the American Legion for Thirty-One Consecutive Years. 

During his tenure, he served as a Division Commander of the American Legion, the Commander of the Eleventh District, and twice served as Commander of American Legion Post #223.

T/SGT Levy displayed throughout his life of service to the American Legion, a superior level of leadership combined with unwavering devotion to duty.

During their application for Permanent Charter on October 26, 1977 American Legion Post #573 desired to honor T/SGT Levy's memory and his service to the American Legion. On December 01, 1977 it was approved by the National Headquarters of the American Legion to rename the post "T/SGT Jack D. Levy Post 573."
